Fuel Cell Laboratory works on all steps and activities needed for fuel cell prototype development.  From fuel cell sub-components to system integration and tests, all phases, are included in the studies of fuel cell technologies laboratory, as shown below:

  • Manufacturing and  integration of PEM fuel cell stack components (up to 5 kW)
  • Manufacturing and  integration of fuel cell stack components (bipolar plates, electrocatalyst, membrane electrode assembly)
  • Manufacturing and integration of liquid feed fuel cell (sodium borohydride, methanol, etc.)   stack components (bipolar plates, electrocatalyst, membrane electrode assembly)
  • Fuel cell single cell tests (PEM, Direct sodium borohydride, methanol, etc.)
  • Fuel cell stack tests (PEM, Direct sodium borohydride, methanol, etc.) (up to 5 kW)
  • Development and manufacturing of fuel cell system subcomponents
  • System integration and power conditioning
